Prayer For Pastor Bill
Lord, I am making the decision to stand with my pastor in prayer! I want to join him as a sincere prayer partner and support him spiritually by praying for him. I ask You to deliver him from people who have wrong motives. I also pray that his ministry will be well received; that he will have joy in his ministry; that he will make right decisions and stay in the will of God; and that he will always feel strong and refreshed in his spirit, soul, and body. Please richly bless my pastor, his wife, and his family.
I pray this in Jesus’ name
How to Pray For Your Church
Let’s join together as a church body and pick up the Shield of Faith and the Sword of the Spirit as we take our place on the front lines for JFC in praying:
#1 That God will build the House and have His way here.
Except the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it…[PSALM 127:1, AMP]
#2 That God will keep, guard, and protect this work.
…. except the Lord keeps the city, the watchman wakes but in vain….[PSALM 127:1, AMP]
#3 For the believers (all who attend Jubilee Family Church).
“…we pray that you give unto us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You: The eyes of our understanding being enlightened; that we may know what is the hope of Your calling, and what the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of Your power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of Your mighty power, Which You wrought in Christ, ….”[EPH 1:17-23, ASV]
“…That you would grant us, according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with might by Your Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in our hearts by faith; that we, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that we might be filled with all the fulness of God…”[EPH 3:14-21, KJV]
“And we also pray and desire that we might be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That we might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to Your glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto You Father, Who hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:” [COL 1:9-12, KJV]
#4 For the lost (our best year EVER!.
1) That the blinders are off their eyes, 2) that God will send the rain to soften their hearts so they can receive, and 3) that God would send laborers into their path.
“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel …” [2 COR 4:4, NIV]
“Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.” [JAMES 5:7, KJV]
“Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest.” [MATT 9:38, KJV]
#5 For those who are Connected to Jubilee Family Church (giving, serving).
Keep and protect those He’s given to us, that we are one and not one will be lost, just as Jesus prayed in John 17:9-26.
#6 For the finances of Jubilee Family Church (our best Year Ever!).
“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse… and try Me now in this…If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.”[MAL 3:10, NKJV]
“…my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”[PHIL 4:19, NKJV]
“…he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully…” [2 COR 9:6, NKJV]
#7 For Pastor Bill & Julie to be refreshed, renewed, restored.
In Romans 15:30-32 Paul writes: “Now I beseech you brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in prayers to God for me, that I may be delivered from those who do not believe in Judea, and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints, and that I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed” (21st Century KJV). His request for prayer is a model we can use to pray effectively for our pastors and other spiritual leaders. So let’s strive together in prayer for them, praying that:
- Our pastors will be snatched out of the traps and snares set for them by people who have wrong motives.
- The ministry will be blessed and accepted and that people will receive and hear our pastors’ hearts the way they mean to convey it.
- Our pastors will have and will hold onto their joy in spite of everything they have to deal with in ministry.
- Our pastors will have the wisdom to know what they are supposed to do in various situations they face.
- Our pastors will be refreshed, restored, recharged, rested, renewed, and rejuvenated.
What else can you do for your Pastors, you ask?
Don’t miss weekly Worship Experiences, continue to give, continue to serve, and bring someone with you to church!!
Faith Confessions for JFC
• We are people of love according to Romans 5:5. The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost.
• We love people like God loves people.
• We are compassionate and merciful towards people according to God’s love in us.
• Love is our standard in this life. God’s love in us
God in Us
• The very nature of God is in me.
• I have Zoe (the life giving – life of God) living in me and quickening me according to Romans 8:11.
• Christ lives in me. (Col. 1:27)
• All of the God head lives in me. (Col. 2:9-10)
• We are people of faith. The faith of God is in us. (Rom. 12:3)
• We walk by faith and not by sight. (2 Cor 5:7)
• Faith is the victory that overcomes the world. (1 John 5:4)
• So now we believe that God is about to speak to us by His Word and by His Spirit. We open our hearts to receive the Word and to do the Word.
Scriptures on Healing
If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you.
Healing is the children’s bread according to Mark 7:26-30.
For they (speaking of the Word) are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
…He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Surely He hath borne our griefs (sicknesses) and carried our sorrows (pains): Yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgression, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes, we are healed.
…He cast out spirits with His word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias (Isaiah) the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses.
Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness; by whose stripes, ye were healed.
1 Peter 2:24
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ…
According to Deuteronomy 28:15-22, 27-29, 35-61, all sickness and disease are a curse of the law. But, praise God, according to Galatians 3:13, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law!
HEALING – WILL OF THE FATHER
…for I am the Lord that healeth thee.
And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfill.
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to shew Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect towards Him…
2 Chronicles 16:9
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
Psalm 91:10, 16
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases: Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
He sent His Word, and healed them…
For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord….
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I send it.
Is anything too hard for the Lord?…
For with God nothing shall be impossible.
And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
If ye then, being evil (natural), know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him?
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights…
And behold, there came a leper and worshipped Him saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth His hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean.
Jesus said of Himself, “I came not to do my own will, but the will of Him that sent me” (John 6:38). Everything Jesus did in His earth walk was the will of the Father. He was the will of God in action. If you want to know the will of the Father, look at Jesus.
HEALING – THE WORKS OF JESUS
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil…
Christ is the healer; Satan is the oppressor.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching…and preaching…and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet: and he healed them. Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
HEALING – MINISTRY OF THE CHURCH
Verily, verily I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father.
And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My name shall they cast out devils…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Mark 16:15, 17-18
Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
3 John 2
HEALING – GOD AT WORK WITH
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1 John 4:4
FAITH FOR HEALING
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.
2 Corinthians 4:13
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Scriptures on Finances
Beloved, I wish (pray) above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
3 John 2
Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams].
Ephesians 3:20 (AMP)
The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, (wealthy) and he addeth no sorrow with it.
Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.
That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual (supernatural) blessings in heavenly places in Christ.
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
2 Peter 1:4
Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.
1 Timothy 6:17
He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things to enjoy.
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in His commandments. Wealth and riches shall be in his house; and his righteousness endureth forever.
Psalm 112:1 & 3
The Lord shall increase you more and more; you and your children.
But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through His poverty might be rich.
2 Corinthians 8:9
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8
And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].
2 Corinthians 9:8 (AMP)
But the meek shall inherit (possessing in their place) the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace (wealth, health, welfare).
Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men’s labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly.
2 Corinthians 10:15
There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.
Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase. So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day: Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein; And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied.
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out. The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
